Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Beginning in August of 2023, I had the chance to live in a town called Felipe Carrillo Puerto, which is located on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula and often referred to as the capital of “La Zona Maya” (the Maya zone). These photos offer a limited glimpse into daily sights around town, along with collections featuring the pets and other animals that live there, as well as a peak into family life.

photos that appear in the gallery below were shot on 35mm film using a mix of Kodak T-MAX 100, T-MAX 400, and TRI-X 400
